Hi, I’m Kaz, a former enrolled nurse turned EFL and OET speaking coach. I have 6+ years of experience working with candidates preparing for the OET speaking test, and life beyond in a western medical setting.
I began to focus solely on English speaking coaching when I started teaching OET preparation to IMG's and IQN's.
I noticed that many had good reading and writing skills but lacked adequate listening and speaking skills.
Many candidates were difficult to understand when speaking because they had pronunciation and accent interference difficulties.
I founded ‘Speak English Like a Pro’ to provide inexpensive, tailored English speaking practise and exercises to enable them to speak clearly and confidently.
Not only to pass the OET, but to thrive in English speaking medical settings.
Since then I’ve worked with many medical and nursing candidates that have succeeded in the OET, and are now continuing on their USMLE journey, or are applying for positions here in Australia and elsewhere.
